Museum

We are opened on Saturday 4th April at 2pm. The Chair of the Parish Council officially opened the museum.

Museum Opening 2026

Open 2pm to 5pm Saturday. Located at the Maunsell Way Pavilion. Parking is available, but the gates will be locked at 5pm. Entrance is free.

April 11^th, 18^th, 25th

May 2^nd, 16^th, 23^rd, 30th,

June 13^th, 20^th, 27^th (closed for outing on 6^th June)

July 11^th, 18^th, 25^th (closed Carnival weekend)

August 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th

September 5^th, 12^th, 19^th, 26^th

October 3^rd, 10^th, 17^th, 24^th 31^st then closed until Spring 2027

The first displays will feature:

• Shops and Businesses (including Listers)

• Wroughton in World War 1 and 2

• Pubs

In addition, the WHG photobooks are available to review (we have 30 books containing a photographic history of the village); old Wroughton Monthlies can be viewed as well as lots of maps and documents. There are also some activities for children.

Free tea/coffee will be served to all visitors.

Members have done a lot of work getting everything ready for our opening!
