Information and up-dates about the museum, including opening times and dates will be added here as soon as possible.
We are opening on Saturday 4th April at 2pm. The Chair of the Parish Council will be officially opening the museum.
The first displays will feature:
Shops and Businesses (including Listers)
Wroughton in World War 1 and 2
Pubs
In addition, the WHG photobooks will be available to review (we have 30 books containing a photographic history of the village); old Wroughton Monthlies can be viewed as well as lots of maps and documents. There will also be some activities for children.
Free tea/coffee will be served to all visitors on the opening day.
Members have done a lot of work getting everything ready for our opening!
